The Role

We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves assessing the viability of bakery and catering equipment based on detailed engineer reports. You’ll be responsible for evaluating repair feasibility, compiling professional yet accessible reports, and providing tailored recommendations, including cost-effective replacement options, ensuring customers receive clear, well-informed guidance on the best course of action for their equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse detailed engineer reports to assess the condition of bakery and catering equipment and determine whether repairs are viable or if the unit is beyond economical repair.
• Convert technical assessments into clear, professional reports that provide customers with well-structured insights and recommendations.
• Prepare precise and competitive quotations for suitable replacement equipment, ensuring customers receive cost-effective solutions tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and customers, facilitating smooth communication and ensuring a seamless transition from assessment to resolution.
• Maintain comprehensive records, ensuring all reports, assessments, and recommendations are well-documented for future reference.
