Job summary

Michael Page Property and Construction is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor for a West Midlands role with broad commercial responsibility across the full project lifecycle. You will drive procurement, cost control and stakeholder engagement on a varied portfolio of construction projects.

The successful candidate will have strong measurement, valuation and subcontract procurement experience, and ideally exposure to NEC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre and post-contract commercial activities across multiple projects.
• Manage subcontract procurement, measurement, valuation and contractual processes.

• Support the delivery of health and safety standards through regular reviews and compliance activities.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to optimise procurement and project performance.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Contribute to the development and performance of the wider commercial team.

• Experience building effective relationships with clients, consultants, design teams and supply chain partners.
• A proactive, collaborative and solution-focused approach.
• Exposure to NEC contracts would be advantageous.
