Job summary

The Fuel Store in Birmingham is seeking a Commercial Executive to help shape pricing strategies for fuel and non-fuel products. You will work closely with the Head of Commercial to forecast, analyse, and optimise portfolio performance while managing supplier relationships and cross-functional projects.

With 2-5 years of relevant experience, you will drive commercial initiatives, contribute to AI rollout, and support the Commercial Board with data-driven papers in a fast-paced, growing business.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience in commercial roles spanning pricing, partnerships, product, or revenue strategy.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities, comfortable with complex datasets and commercial frameworks.
• Experience working with 3rd party stakeholders, from both a client and customer perspective.
• Proven experience driving cross-functional commercial outcomes across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success/ECM, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Work on the fuel pricing strategy to our customers monitoring the portfolio performance.
• Input to the strategy for non-fuel products and help manage the relationships with external suppliers.
• Prepare papers for the Commercial Board and document decisions; lead actions with managers.
• Lead commercial forecasting, scenario planning, and business case development with Finance.
• Assist with portfolio analysis and optimisation to drive margin, usage, retention, partner performance, and CLV.
• Lead or assist with large customer tenders and complex commercial deals.
• Provide input to AI solutions being implemented in the organisation.
