The Portfolio Group Inc. in Manchester is seeking a Commercial Solicitor at NQ to tenured level to join its expanding in-house team. You will handle a broad caseload across commercial, corporate, civil, and employment law, with early autonomy and clear growth paths.

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a current practicing certificate is required. You will advise senior stakeholders, support potential M&A, and help drive a service-led approach with a pragmatic, business-focused style.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a valid practicing certificate.
• Experience across commercial, corporate, civil, or employment law.
• Mindset: proactive problem-solver with business development focus.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders across the Group.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad caseload spanning commercial, corporate, civil, and employment law.
• Litigation & dispute resolution including County Court matters.
• Provide pragmatic, commercial legal advice and support potential M&A.
• Oversee regulatory investigations and compliance matters.
• In-house advisory to companies across the Group.
