Job summary

Clear Legal & Financial Recruitment seeks an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join its growing legal team in the UK. The role covers advising on the sale and purchase of businesses, commercial contracts and general corporate matters, with property aspects where required.

You will manage a varied caseload independently, deliver practical legal advice, and develop strong client relationships to grow the department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in commercial law.
• Experience in business sales and acquisitions, commercial contracts and corporate transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Client-focused approach with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on the sale and purchase of businesses and companies.
• Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, heads of terms, confidentiality agreements and other relevant legal documentation.
• Advising on commercial contracts, corporate matters and general business transactions.
• Handling commercial property matters where required, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and property-related aspects of business sales.
• Managing a varied caseload independently, ensuring matters progress efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships by providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice.
• Identifying opportunities to develop client relationships and contribute to the growth of the department.
