Job summary

Our Client, a multinational organisation, is seeking a Commercial Solicitor with around 3 years’ PQE to join its in‑house team. You will draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, manage stakeholder relationships and contribute to bids, tenders and corporate projects.

A hybrid model is offered with circa 3–4 days in the Chester area. You will gain broad exposure across commercial, regulatory and dispute‑advisory work, with mentoring and professional development in a collaborative

Qualifications

• 3 years PQE or equivalent experience in commercial law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Exposure to disputes, bids/tenders, and corporate projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts across business units.
• Support bids, tenders and corporate projects with legal input.
• Assist with company secretarial matters and property-related issues as needed.
• Provide general commercial advisory support to business stakeholders.

Role - Commercial Solicitor

The in-house lawyers are involved in a wide variety of work, including commercial contract drafting, review and negotiation, bids and tenders, dispute management, corporate projects, company secretarial matters, property-related issues and general commercial advisory work.

The Commercial Solicitor reports into an approachable and well-regarded Head of Legal who is committed to developing junior lawyers, and there is a genuine emphasis on mentoring, learning and professional growth.

About you

This is a superb opportunity for a c. 3 years' PQE commercial solicitor to join a large multinational company in a varied in-house legal role. You will be hands-on working with buisness stakeholders across the UK, and you will gain great exposire and legal experience.

Applications are encouraged from commercially minded solicitors with general commercial, commercial litigation and/or similar commercial contractual legal experience.
