Job summary

mlr legal recruitment is seeking a driven Commercial Solicitor to join a growing legal team in Lancashire. You will handle a varied caseload focusing on business sales and acquisitions, commercial contracts and related property matters, from instruction through to completion.

You will draft and negotiate key documents, build long‑term client relationships and contribute to a supportive, expanding practice. The role offers a real chance to own your work and advance within a friendly firm.

Qualifications

• Solid background in commercial law.
• Experience in business sales/acquisitions and commercial contracts.
• Commercial property experience is advantageous.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Confident managing a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Advising on the sale and purchase of businesses and companies.
• Managing transactions end-to-end.
• Drafting and negotiating SPAs, heads of terms, confidentiality agreements and related documents.
• Advising on commercial contracts and relevant property matters.
• Managing your own caseload efficiently.
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
