Michael Page Legal seeks a Commercial Solicitor to join its market-leading clean energy practice in Manchester. You will advise on sophisticated commercial contracts across renewable technologies and projects.

The role emphasises contract drafting and negotiation, client relationships, and collaboration with colleagues across practice areas to support energy-sector clients.

Formación

• Solicitor with around 5+ years' PQE in commercial law.
• Experience advising on contracts in the clean energy or energy sector.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills with client focus.

Responsabilidades

• Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts relating to clean energy projects.
• Supporting clients across renewable energy, storage, solar, wind and hydrogen.
• Handling route-to-market agreements, PPA, energy supply and optimisation contracts.
• Collaborating with lawyers across practice areas on complex matters.
• Developing relationships with clients operating in energy and sustainability sectors.

Description

The Commercial Solicitor will be:

• Advising on a broad range of commercial contracts relating to clean energy projects and businesses.
• Supporting clients across areas such as renewable energy, battery storage, solar, wind, hydrogen and other emerging technologies.
• Working on sophisticated contractual arrangements including route-to-market agreements, power purchase agreements, energy supply contracts and optimisation arrangements.
• Working collaboratively with lawyers across different practice areas on complex clean energy matters.
• Developing strong relationships with clients operating across the energy and sustainability sectors.

Profile

The Commercial Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with around 5+ years' PQE.
• Experienced in commercial contracts, with demonstrable exposure to the clean energy, renewables or wider energy sector.
• Confident advising on complex contractual arrangements and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Commercially minded, with excellent drafting, communication and client relationship skills.
• Keen to continue developing specialist expertise within the fast-evolving clean energy market.
