Michael Page Legal is seeking a Commercial Solicitor to join a national law firm with a strong clean energy practice. Based in one of its UK offices, you will advise on sophisticated commercial matters across a range of clean energy technologies and projects.

Qualifications

• The Commercial Solicitor will be advising on a broad range of commercial contracts relating to clean energy projects and businesses.
• Experience across renewable energy, battery storage, solar, wind, hydrogen and other emerging technologies.
• Handling sophisticated contractual arrangements including route-to-market agreements, power purchase agreements, energy supply contracts and optimisation arrangements.
• Collaborating with lawyers across different practice areas on complex clean energy matters.
• Developing strong relationships with clients operating across the energy and sustainability sectors.

Profile

The Commercial Solicitor should be:

• A solicitor or equivalent with around 5+ years' PQE.
• Experienced in commercial contracts, with demonstrable exposure to the clean energy, renewables or wider energy sector.
• Confident advising on complex contractual arrangements and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Commercially minded, with excellent drafting, communication and client relationship skills.
• Keen to continue developing specialist expertise within the fast-evolving clean energy market.
