Job summary

Good Energy Group is seeking a Commercial Solar PV Electrician to join our engineering team. The role is field-based with travel across the Reading area and beyond, performing electrical installations, inspections and testing on commercial Solar PV sites.

Experience in Solar PV is helpful but not required, as training is provided. You will hold a C&G Level 3 or equivalent, be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with clients and teammates to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Essentials: C+G Level 3 Electrician; 18th Edition Regs; Commercial experience; ECS (Gold Card JIB) or equivalent; Strong technical and analytical skills; Teamwork; Creative problem solving and clear communication; Verbal and written communication; Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; Electrical Engineering qualification; Willing to travel and stay away as required.

Responsibilities

• Work on Solar PV installations on commercial sites; Perform electrical installations, inspections and testing; Travel with overnight stays up to 80% for projects.
