Job Description:

Our client, a global market leader in Mechanical & Electrical engineering within Low Temperature cooling technology, is seeking a Commercial Service Manager. Established in 1983 and based in Hampshire, the company employs 23 staff with a turnover of £32m. Despite recent economic challenges, the company has experienced stable growth and plans to expand further.

The Commercial Service Manager will lead the Service Department, managing customer interactions and establishing service processes aligned with sister service centres, while adhering to local regulations and customer expectations. Responsibilities include managing the service team, developing and implementing service procedures, and overseeing customer product flow to job completion.

  • Maintain service orders, revenue, and margins in accordance with budgets, providing updates to MD and Operations Manager, including KPI reports.
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures.
  • Promote the service as a product and explore opportunities for business expansion within the UK.
  • Achieve annual targets for spares orders, revenue, and gross margin.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Service Policies, Procedures, and Safe Working Practices.
  • Provide after-sales service, technical support, and training to agents and customers as needed.
  • Develop and maintain equipment resource requirements for the UK.
  • Ensure all service systems and procedures meet UK and European standards.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for Service engineers, technicians, and administrators.
