OVERVIEW

The Sales & Service Manager is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for implementing Alo’s business and guest experience strategies. This individual is passionate about meeting business targets, enhancing sales, improving guest experiences, and developing talent in alignment with Alo’s Guiding Principles. The primary goal is to ensure an exceptional guest experience in the store.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Investigate sales opportunities and collaborate with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
  2. Oversee the Sales & Service team to deliver an exceptional guest experience through assessing guest connection and product education, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
  3. Build and maintain client relationships daily.
  4. Ensure effective sales floor coverage by developing workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives.
  5. Partner with the General Manager to develop and implement the store’s Sales & Service strategy.

Business Leadership

  1. Represent the business in meetings and conference calls with the General Manager.
  2. Manage budgets, reports, and business metrics in partnership with the General Manager.
  3. Plan workflows to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Promote Alo’s mission and Guiding Principles to visitors through the Sales, Service, and Community teams.
  5. Lead the team with accountability, coaching, talent development, and effective communication.
  6. Develop internal and external talent pipelines through succession planning and recruitment strategies.
  7. Create schedules aligned with business priorities in partnership with the General Manager.

Qualifications

  1. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  4. Motivated to drive business in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
  5. Entrepreneurial mindset and business ownership attitude.
  6. Strong work ethic, time management, and personal accountability.
  7. Alignment with Alo’s Guiding Principles.
  8. Mid-Senior level experience.
  9. Legal right to work in the UK.
  10. This is a full-time role (40 hours/week), primarily managing the retail floor and team development, including availability for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
