Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join their essential services team in Randburg. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems for supermarkets, restaurants, and industrial facilities.

You will ensure efficient operation, respond to service calls, and diagnose to prevent failures. Requirements include proven experience, strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and electrical systems, EPA Universal

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, thermodynamics, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment used in refrigeration repair.
• Experience with various refrigerant types and handling procedures.
• Valid driver's license and a commitment to safe work practices.
• EPA Universal certification is essential.

Mansioni

• Install new commercial refrigeration units and systems, including walk‑in coolers, freezers, and display cases.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair complex issues with refrigeration systems, including compressors, evaporators, and condensers.
• Service and repair ice machines, chillers, and other cooling apparatus.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations related to refrigerant handling.
• Maintain accurate service reports and inventory of parts used.
