Job summary

Woodrow Mercer Engineering is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment across Birmingham and surrounding postcodes.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns, and an on-call rota (roughly 1 in 5 weekends), with a company van, training and progression opportunities.

Applicants should have F-Gas qualification, a full UK driving licence, and proven fault-finding and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• F-Gas qualified (essential).
• Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive breakdowns.
• Work across hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial customer sites.
• Complete electronic job sheets via tablet.
• Participate in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 5 weekends).
