Job summary

Woodrow Mercer Engineering is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service Birmingham and the surrounding postcodes. You will service, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment across hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial sites, with on-call duties and a rota.

The role offers a salary up to £40,000 DOE, plus door-to-door pay and overtime. Benefits include a company van, fuel card, tools, uniform, manufacturer training and genuine career progression

• FGas qualification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong fault-finding abilities.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdowns.
• Work across hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial sites.
• Complete electronic job sheets via tablet.
• Participate in on-call rota (approximately 1 in 5 weekends).

Location: Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick, Leamington Spa and surrounding areas (B, CV, WR, DY, GL, OX postcodes)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime + On-Call Retainer

The Role

• Service, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive breakdowns.
• Work across hospitality, education, healthcare and commercial customer sites.
• Complete electronic job sheets via tablet.
• Participate in an on-call rota (approximately 1 in 5 weekends).

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• F-Gas qualified (essential).
• Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent fault-finding and customer service skills.
