Craven Cooling Sales Ltd specialises in commercial refrigeration. Based in Swansea, the company is seeking an experienced field-based engineer to cover South Wales and surrounding areas.

This full-time, permanent position involves reactive breakdowns, installation and commissioning of refrigeration systems, and planned maintenance across customer sites. The ideal candidate will have F-Gas Category 1, NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration (or time-served equivalent), at least 5 years of experience, and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration or time-served equivalent.
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial refrigeration service and installation.
• Confident working with R290 and other hydrocarbons (flammable) refrigerants.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Reactive breakdowns: fault-finding and repair on refrigeration and electrical systems.
• Installing and commissioning commercial refrigeration systems (cold rooms, integral/remote units, condensers, cellar cooling, serve-over counters).
• Planned preventative maintenance visits to agreed schedules.
• Completing job sheets and service reports accurately.
• Dealing with customers professionally on site.

What you'll need
