Job summary

SP Electricity North West is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial and contractual support across a diverse project portfolio. You will ensure delivery aligns with contractual obligations, internal controls and industry standards, with a focus on cost management and value opportunities.

The role involves site visits, supporting project managers with forecasting, budget control, and tender evaluations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification/experience.
• Experience in cost management, CVR, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Experience administering contracts including NEC/JCT forms.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract commercial activities across multiple projects with governance.
• Support project managers with forecasting, budget management and cost control.
• Assist with budget estimates using cost data and rates.
• Identify risks and mitigate costs per risk management processes.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and validate costs.
