Job summary

Southport-based EFT Group (Construction) is seeking a Commercial Manager to own live projects financially, from tender through final accounts. You will manage budgets, cash flow and subcontractors to ensure profitable delivery for healthcare, education and local authority clients.

The role requires overseeing 2-3 live projects, producing CVRs, and coordinating with site teams to maintain strong client relationships. Salary circa £55,000 plus £5,000 car allowance, DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing multiple live projects from tender to final account.
• Ability to prepare budgets, CVRs and cash flow forecasts.
• Strong awareness of subcontractor management and procurement processes.
• Proven track record delivering profitable projects to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-3 live projects concurrently, from tender through to final account.
• Set up and finalise project budgets and CVRs with monthly reporting.
• Monitor cash flows and budget vs. actuals; report variances to protect profitability.
• Prepare monthly valuations, work-in-progress and labour budget reports.
• Procurement planning: issue subcontracts, evaluate tenders and select suppliers.
• Mentor and support Estimating team with tender preparation and pricing.
