Job summary

Protec Fire Solutions ANZ is seeking a commercially minded professional to join our London-based projects. You will assist in cost forecasting, contract administration, and final accounts, ensuring projects stay within budget.

You will monitor expenditure, manage subcontractors, provide monthly cost reporting, visit sites, and support project teams with financial input while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
• Experience with valuations, reconciliations, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial and contractual management of projects, including interim applications and final accounts.
• Monitor and report on project expenditure and cashflow to ensure budgets and margins.
• Manage subcontractor packages from procurement through final account, including valuations, variations, and cost reporting.
• Process client orders/contracts in line with company risk profiles and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide monthly cost/value reconciliations, cashflow forecasts, and profitability analysis with the Finance Team.
• Conduct regular site visits to support project teams with commercial input and participate in meetings.
• Ensure all commercial/financial records are accurate, stored securely, and accessible to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve commercial or financial queries, escalating when required.
