Job description

I am currently recruiting for a company that is looking for a couple of commercial QSs to join their team. This is a really exciting time to join the business, with some long-term projects on the horizon.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Manage costs and subcontractors for defence projects.
2. Work on large, multimillion-pound contracts.
3. Handle a variety of projects including refurbishments, re-kitting, and new builds.
4. Deal with post-award contracts.

This is a great opportunity to learn and progress within the business. These are interim roles starting at 12 months, with the possibility of extensions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Background as a QS with knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Postgraduate qualification and some experience in a fast-track scheme or similar, or more experienced in the field.
• Experience working on large, multimillion-pound projects.

This is an ideal opportunity to transition from a permanent role into the interim market.

These roles are offered on a long-term interim basis.

Position based 3 days a week in the offices near Reading.
