The successful candidate will manage commercial property transactions, draft and negotiate leases, and liaise with clients and third parties. A proactive, independent yet collaborative approach is essential for growth of the department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years PQE in Commercial Property.
• Experience handling a range of commercial property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial leases and associated documentation.
• Ability to manage deadlines and progress transactions efficiently.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and client-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Advise on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial leases and related documents.
• Advise landlords and tenants on lease terms, renewals and assignments.
• Deal with freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Undertake title investigations, review property searches and respond to enquiries.
• Draft contracts, transfers, leases and other property-related documents.
• Advise on property matters related to business acquisitions, disposals and restructuring.
• Manage due diligence, report to clients and progress transactions on time.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, solicitors and third parties.
• Identify risks and provide clear, commercially sensible advice.
• Maintain accurate files and regulatory compliance.
• Build and maintain client relationships and contribute to firm growth.
