Commercial Property Solicitor - Exciting Opportunity with Leading Firm

Salary range: 40k - 70k Depending on experience, there are multiple vacancies at multiple levels - they will look at candidates ranging 6 months-10 years PQE

Location: They have multiple offices throughout Lancashire with hybrid availability

We are working with a leading law firm that is seeking to add a talented solicitor to their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a diverse and exciting range of commercial property matters while providing expert legal support and commercially viable advice to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess the skills and passion to build strong professional relationships, deliver exceptional legal solutions, and contribute to the firm’s ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a broad portfolio of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development work.
• Provide strategic advice on a wide range of commercial property matters, offering tailored, commercially-driven solutions.
• Research and analyse case law and documents to ensure the accuracy and compliance of legal advice.
• Stay updated on changes in property law and market trends to provide clients with the most relevant, up-to-date guidance.
• Lead negotiations and draft key legal documents, including contracts, leases, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise clients on property investments and portfolio management to maximize their potential.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming the primary point of contact for key clients.
• Identify and instruct external experts where necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
• Oversee case management, ensuring all deadlines are met and escalated when appropriate.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth by leveraging professional contacts to generate new business opportunities.
• Monitor and meet personal time recording and billing targets to ensure ongoing efficiency.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, including trainees, paralegals, and support staff, to foster their professional development.

Skills and Experience:

• A qualified solicitor with experience in commercial property law.
• Strong knowledge of property law and a keen understanding of the market.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience in supervising and mentoring junior team members is desirable.
