Job summary

NPA Recruit is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor for a busy practice on the South coast. Based in Eastbourne, you will work 3-4 days in the office per week and handle sales, purchases, leases and developments.

You will conduct due diligence, draft contracts, advise on landlord-tenant matters, and resolve disputes, while staying compliant with AML and regulatory requirements. A valid practicing certificate and at least 1 year PQE in commercial property are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid practising certificate.
• Minimum 1 year PQE in commercial property.
• Experience in leases, sales and landlord-tenant matters.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial property sales, purchases, leases, and developments.
• Conduct due diligence, including title checks and planning permissions.
• Draft and negotiate contracts and leases.
• Advise on landlord-tenant issues including renewals and rent adjustments.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Ensure AML compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Stay updated on property law and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with clients and professionals across the chain.
