Job summary

Service Care Legal, in partnership with a respected regional law firm in Chelmsford, Essex, seeks a Solicitor to manage a varied commercial property caseload. Based in the region, you will handle sales, acquisitions, leases, and development work for a commercial client base.

You will work closely with SMEs, investors and developers, delivering precise drafting, negotiation and client management while handling landlord and tenant matters and high-value transactions.

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with NQ to 8+ years' PQE.
Strong commercial property experience, ideally gained within private practice.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
Commercially minded and client-focused.

Responsibilities

Handle a varied commercial property caseload including sales and acquisitions.
Draft and negotiate commercial leases, licences and related agreements.
Advise on property development, site acquisitions and disposals.
Advise landlord and tenant matters for SME clients, investors and developers.
Support high-value and complex commercial transactions.
Collaborate with partners to provide client-focused legal solutions.
