Job summary

Service Care Legal, in partnership with a respected regional law firm in Chelmsford, Essex, seeks a Solicitor to manage a varied commercial property caseload. Based in the region, you will handle sales, acquisitions, leases, and development work for a commercial client base.

You will work closely with SMEs, investors and developers, delivering precise drafting, negotiation and client management while handling landlord and tenant matters and high-value transactions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with NQ to 8+ years' PQE.
• Strong commercial property experience, ideally gained within private practice.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client management skills.
• Commercially minded and client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied commercial property caseload including sales and acquisitions.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, licences and related agreements.
• Advise on property development, site acquisitions and disposals.
• Advise landlord and tenant matters for SME clients, investors and developers.
• Support high-value and complex commercial transactions.
• Collaborate with partners to provide client-focused legal solutions.
