Your new role
You will oversee the delivery of a compliant, high-performing commercial property management service, focusing on financial and service KPIs, portfolio maximisation, and value for money. Your responsibilities include leading and developing a team, managing stakeholder relationships, and handling rent, service charges, lettings, and lease events. You will report on business performance and align activities with strategic goals.
You will lead the team in letting and selling commercial units, develop strategies that balance commercial and residential needs, and ensure high standards in property management, compliance, and financial performance. Your role involves overseeing building works, tenant fit-outs, void management, supporting budget planning, and long-term strategy development. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise portfolio returns and drive strategic decisions.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in managing commercial property operations, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a good understanding of commercial property legislation and transactions are essential. You should have a track record in customer service, project management, budgeting, and business improvement. Familiarity with development, lettings, and sales processes is required, along with negotiation skills and external partnership management. MRICS accreditation (or working towards it) is desirable.
