Sellick Partnership is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm’s team in the UK. The role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts, leases, and licences, with due diligence and client advisory duties across landlord and tenant matters and transactions.

The successful candidate will handle acquisitions, disposals, and development matters with strong knowledge of property and land law, SDLT procedures, and a client-focused approach.

Formación

• 3+ years PQE in commercial property law.
• Proven track record of independently managing a broad caseload of commercial property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property, land, landlord and tenant law and related legislation.
• Experience handling acquisitions, disposals, leases and development matters.
• Ability to draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial property documents.
• Familiarity with land registration and SDLT procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, leases, agreements for lease, and licences.
• Conduct due diligence including title documents, searches, and planning consents.
• Advise clients on landlord and tenant matters, including renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses.
• Handle acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises, development land, and investment properties.
• Liaise with clients, developers, local authorities, surveyors, lenders, and other stakeholders.
• Register transactions with HM Land Registry and ensure compliance with SDLT requirements.
• Manage risk and ensure AML and regulatory obligations compliance.
• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice tailored to client needs.
