Job summary

Sellick Partnership is working with a leading Legal 500 law firm to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor. You will draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial property documents and provide practical, business-focused advice.

You will manage a broad caseload including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and development matters, while ensuring compliance with SDLT and AML regulations. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in commercial property law.
• Proven track record managing a broad caseload independently.
• Strong knowledge of property, land, landlord & tenant law.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, leases, agreements for lease, and licences.
• Conduct due diligence including title documents, searches, and planning consents.
• Advise clients on landlord and tenant matters including renewals, rent reviews, and break clauses.
• Handle acquisitions and disposals of commercial premises, development land, and investment properties.
• Liaise with clients, developers, local authorities, surveyors, lenders, and stakeholders.
• Register transactions with HM Land Registry and ensure AML/regulatory compliance.
• Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice tailored to client needs.
