Law Staff Legal Recruitment is assisting a Legal 500 firm to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer in the UK. The role involves managing a varied caseload across sales, purchases, leases and landlord/tenant work, with a collaborative team and supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with proven experience in commercial property.
• Experience handling sales/purchases of commercial properties and related assets.
• Familiarity with secured lending and landlord/tenant transactions.

Responsibilities

• Handling the sale and purchase of commercial properties.
• Managing the sale of business assets.
• Overseeing property sales at auction.
• Advising on secured lending, mortgages, and remortgages.
• Managing Landlord and Tenant transactions, including leases, renewals, licences to assign, sublet, and alter, as well as lease surrenders.
• Handling pension scheme transactions, including in-specie transfers.
• Dealing with Land Registry applications, including first registrations and adverse possession claims.
• Managing Section 25 notices.
• Representing and advising management companies.
