Sedgwick is hiring a Commercial Property Claims Technician for a remote role with travel to London/South Coast. You will triage claims, coordinate Loss Adjuster visits, and support customers, insurers, and brokers throughout the claim lifecycle.

The role emphasizes empathy, initiative, and clear communication to move claims forward. The ideal candidate will manage claims for multiple clients, maintain high technical quality, and pursue Cert CILA to support professional development.

We have a fantastic opportunity for Commercial Property Claims Technicians.

The Claims Technician is a technical assistant desk-based role, designed to support the Loss Adjuster throughout the handling of customer’s claims. Your key responsibilities will involve triaging new claims, arranging the initial Loss Adjuster visit and supporting customers, suppliers, Insurers and brokers throughout the life of a claim. The role requires both empathy and initiative – clear communication helps customer’s feel supported, while independent thinking keeps claims moving forward.

Your key responsibilities will include acting as a contact point for customers and suppliers, managing claims, information, and supplier projects, and helping to control costs and payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest technical quality, always with customer experience in mind. You will be an excellent communicator, self-motivated, and disciplined. Flexibility and willingness to embrace change are essential, along with an enthusiasm for industry-leading technology.

The skills you will have when you apply:

• Experience in managing claims across multiple clients: Previous experience in a claims environment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills: You will interact with policyholders, insurers, contractors, and other stakeholders. You’ll need to explain complex details clearly and negotiate fair settlements for all parties involved.
• Commitment to professional development: A dedication to working towards the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters' Cert CILA qualification is essential.
