Job summary

BTG Recruitment is recruiting a Project Finance Manager for a high-growth, private equity-backed business in a hybrid role. You will own project reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis, partnering with Project Managers, Sales and Operations to understand performance and margins.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will help improve financial visibility across a major division and influence commercial decisions while navigating a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Experience in project, contract or commercially focused environments
• Experience with project accounting, margins, and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial reporting and MI for a significant project-based division
• Analyse project revenue, costs, profitability and margins
• Forecast project outcomes and year-end performance
• Review budgets and assumptions and challenge them
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Sales and Operations on progress and costs
• Prepare budgets and rolling forecasts
• Explain drivers behind margin changes and support system improvements
