Job summary

Howett-Thorpe Recruitment Consultants Limited seeks a Project Finance Manager to lead the financial management of international project expenditure in a hybrid London setting. You will own budgets, track costs, and deliver insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions.

The role requires a qualified accountant or finalist with project/contract‑led finance experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders across project teams and overseas

Qualifications

• This role requires a qualified accountant, or finalist, with project‑led or commercially complex experience.
• You will manage the full finance cycle for project expenditure, including budgets, forecasts and reporting.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills are essential to provide commercial insight.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of finance activity across project expenditure.
• Prepare and review project P&L reporting across live international projects.
• Track project spend, budgets, accruals, margins and forecasts.
• Ensure accurate recording, analysis and reporting of project costs.
• Monitor profitability and provide commentary on financial performance.
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital visibility.
