Job summary

ABM is seeking a skilled plumbing technician to ensure safe and compliant operation of commercial plumbing systems across our Belfast contract. You will perform planned maintenance, reactive repairs and statutory tasks, with CAFM logging and a focus on customer service.

The role requires an apprenticeship in Plumbing, 3+ years' experience, a full UK driving licence, and IT / CAFM proficiency. We offer a strong benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in Plumbing.
• Minimum three years' experience maintaining commercial plumbing systems.
• Experience within facilities management.
• Experience delivering SFG20 maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Competent IT skills including CAFM/mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned plumbing PPMs in accordance with SFG20.
• Maintain water services, sanitaryware, valves, pipework, pumps, TMVs, boosted water systems and drainage systems.
• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages and pipework modifications.
• Undertake statutory inspections relating to water hygiene and plumbing systems where applicable.
• Record all work in the CAFM system.
• Support minor works and projects.
• Is responsive and prompt to customer enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Delegates and coordinates work in a clear and efficient manner.
• Promotes a spirit of teamwork, consistently displaying a positive approach to working with others.
