Job summary

ABM UK is seeking an experienced plumber to maintain commercial plumbing systems in Belfast. You will perform PPMs, reactive repairs and statutory inspections, ensuring compliance with SFG20 and safety standards.

Prospective candidates will hold a recognised plumbing apprenticeship, 3+ years of FM experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong IT skills including CAFM. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in Plumbing.
• Minimum three years' experience maintaining commercial plumbing systems.
• Experience within facilities management.
• Experience delivering SFG20 maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Competent IT skills including CAFM/mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Complete all assigned plumbing PPMs in accordance with SFG20.
• Maintain water services, sanitaryware, valves, pipework, pumps, TMVs, boosted water systems and drainage systems.
• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages and pipework modifications.
• Undertake statutory inspections relating to water hygiene and plumbing systems where applicable.
• Raise remedial works and raise safety-critical defects.
• Record all work in the CAFM system.
• Support minor works and projects.
• Is responsive and prompt to customer enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Delegates and coordinates work in a clear and efficient manner.
• Promotes a spirit of teamwork, consistently displaying a positive approach to working with others.
