Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out first and second fix plumbing installations for new restaurant and office fit-outs

• Diagnose and repair plumbing faults and carry out regular maintenance on commercial systems

• Install and service water heaters, pumps, pipework, sanitary ware, kitchen plumbing and other domestic systems

• Respond to urgent plumbing issues with a proactive and solution-focused approach

• Liaise with site managers, project managers, and clients to ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard

• Ensure all work complies with current regulations and health & safety requirements

• Complete job sheets, reports, and relevant documentation clearly and promptly

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)

• Proven experience in domestic/commercial plumbing, particularly in restaurant and office fit-out environments

• Strong knowledge of pipe fitting, system installs, and fault diagnosis

• CSCS card (preferred)

• Valid UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience with unvented hot water systems

• Gas Safe Registration (advantageous but not essential)

• Awareness of London working regulations and building standards
