Job summary

Igloo Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Commercial Panel Technician to repair and replace panels on LCVs and HGVs within a large automotive repair group. You will perform structural and cosmetic panel work and align panels using manufacturer-approved processes, ensuring high quality finishes.

The role requires MIG/MAG welding proficiency, familiarity with PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite standards, and a strong attention to detail in a safety-focused workshop.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Panel Technician in a bodyshop or commercial vehicle environment.
• Knowledge of BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards.
• Confident with MIG/MAG welding and modern panel repair methods.
• ATA accreditation or similar is an advantage.
• Commercial chassis or cab alignment experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Remove, repair and align panels per manufacturer-approved processes.
• Use up-to-date repair equipment to ensure excellent finish and accuracy.
• Work to productivity, quality and safety targets.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive workshop environment.
