Job summary

Igloo Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Panel Technician to join a large automotive repair group. You’ll repair and replace panels on LCVs and HGVs, following recognised repair methods and high quality standards.

You will work on both structural and cosmetic repairs, align panels to manufacturer tolerances, and use current repair equipment to deliver precise finishes while contributing to a safe, productive workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Panel Technician in bodyshop or CV environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards.
• Proficiency with MIG/MAG welding and modern repair methods.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on commercial vehicles.
• Remove, repair and align panels per manufacturer-approved processes.
• Use up-to-date repair equipment to ensure high finish and accuracy.
• Meet productivity, quality and safety targets.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Panel Technician to join a large automotive repair group in recruiting an experienced Commercial Panel Technician. You’ll be repairing and replacing panels on LCVs and HGVs, working to recognised repair methods and high-quality standards.

• Carrying out both structural and cosmetic panel repairs on commercial vehicles of all types
• Removing, repairing and aligning panels in line with manufacturer-approved processes
• Using up-to-date repair equipment and techniques to ensure excellent finish and accuracy
• Working to productivity, quality and safety targets
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workshop environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Panel Technician within a bodyshop or commercial vehicle environment
• Knowledge of BSI PAS 10125 and VBRA Elite Truck & Van Standards
• Confident with MIG/MAG welding and modern panel repair methods
• ATA accreditation or similar is an advantage
• Commercial chassis or cab alignment experience is desirableStrong detail orientation and quality focus
• A team player with good communication and work ethic
