Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial panel beater and/or fabricator.
• Strong knowledge and experience of metal fabrication and repair techniques.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding and fabrication tools.
• High attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Repair damaged commercial vehicle panels using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Carrying out welding repairs on chassis, trailer frames, and body structures.
• Repairing structural damage, cracks, and fatigue failures.
• Fabricate and modify metal components to restore vehicle structures.
• Assess vehicle damage and determine repair methods.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialist fabrication equipment.
• Align and fit panels to manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and filling.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines and production targets.
