Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking a Commercial Mechanical Plumbing Maintenance Engineer to join our UK wide M&E team. Based in Yorkshire, you will perform general plumbing and HVAC maintenance, servicing unvented hot water systems, pumps, pipework and drainage, ensuring compliance and reliability across live sites.

You should have 5+ years in plumbing/HVAC maintenance, an approved plumbing apprenticeship (NVQ 2/3), and experience in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Plumbing plant incl. unvented hot water heaters, pipework, drainage and pumps.
• Experience in facilities maintenance in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• General plumbing and HVAC plant maintenance on site.
• Maintain on-site logs, permits and site paperwork to keep records up to date.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Our client is looking for candidate who has knowledge of Plumbing systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Plumbing / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.
• Knowledge and experience of all Plumbing plant including, but not limited to unvented hot water heaters, plumbing & pipework systems, above ground drainage, expansion vessels, pumps & sanitary ware.
• Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and worked in similar environment.

Qualifications

• Approved Plumbing Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement (NVQ 2/3).
