Job summary

Comxps Ltd. is seeking a procurement/ contract management professional for a Government Client project in Salisbury.

The role focuses on NEC contracting (ECC/PSC) under Public Contract Regulations, overseeing infrastructure and facilities management, and coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver on time, cost and quality. The position requires a background in construction, estates or facilities, and experience with the public sector; 3 days on-site per week with

Qualifications

• Experience with Public Contract Regulations, Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations.
• Commercial environment involving infrastructure works and soft and hard facilities management.
• Experience of NEC contracting, specifically ECC and PSC, including awareness of NEC 3 or 4 contracting; NEC 4 preferred.
• Managing communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate priorities and business plans to internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring programmes deliver to time, cost and quality.
• Public sector experience is preferred.
• Background in Construction, Estates, Facilities.

Job description

Salary: £To be confirmed on application (our client has asked for this not to be advertised).

Location: Salisbury - Officially 3 days per week onsite but happy with an average of 2 per week onsite. Must be flexible to business needs, peaks and troughs, some weeks could be 4 days, some 1 for example.

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: 240 WORKING DAYS over 12-month period

Clearance: SC

Essential:

• Experience with Public Contract Regulations, Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations.
• Worked in a commercial environment involving infrastructure works and soft and hard facilities management.
• Experience of NEC contracting, specifically Engineering Construction Contracts (ECC) and Professional Service Contracts (PSC), including an awareness of NEC 3 or 4 contracting. NEC 4 is preferred.
• Managing communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be required.
• Ability to communicate priorities and business plans to internal and external stakeholders whilst ensuring that all programmes and projects deliver to time, cost and quality.
• Public sector experience is preferred
• Background in one or more of the following:
  • Construction
  • Estates
  • Facilities

Desirable:

• Defence experience
• MCIPS or equivalent
• Public sector procurement experience, PA2023, very useful
