Job summary

S&B Utilities is a leading provider of mechanical and electrical services for water treatment and related civil engineering works. We seek an experienced Commercial Manager to drive governance, budgeting and NEC contract administration on major UK projects.

This role requires a strong track record in cost control, forecasting and stakeholder management on large infrastructure schemes, with leadership of commercial teams across procurement and contracts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' commercial management experience on major infrastructure, utilities, industrial, energy or construction projects.
• Significant NEC contract management experience with strong cost control, forecasting and change management.
• MRICS, MCICES, MCIOB or equivalent membership, or working towards.

Ideal Candidate

• Commercial Expertise: Significant NEC contract management experience with strong knowledge of cost control, forecasting and change management.
• Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, Law, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional Membership: MRICS, MCICES, MCIOB or equivalent professional membership, or working towards.
• Leadership: Proven ability to manage commercial teams, suppliers and key stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong financial reporting, forecasting and risk management capability.
• Project Experience: Demonstrable experience managing projects valued at £20m+.
• Desirable: Experience within nuclear, water treatment, wastewater treatment or major UK infrastructure programmes.
