Bespak is looking for a Commercial Manager. This is a permanent position for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary for this role is £67k to £74k. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

Working Pattern - Monday to Friday usual working times of 8:30am to 5:00pm with an 8:30 am to 3:45pm finish on a Friday. There is some flexibility on start and finish times and could accommodate hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities

As our Commercial Manager, you will: be responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and developing our key customer accounts. You will act as the primary commercial focal point for these clients, building successful partnerships and ensuring all contractual obligations are met. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including Business Development and Supply Chain, to deliver against forecasts and identify new opportunities with existing customers. Ultimately, you will be accountable for the financial performance and strategic direction of your customer portfolio.

Bespak in Holmes Chapel is an Investors in People Silver Award-winning pharmaceutical Contract, Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), specialising in respiratory and inhalation drug products services, delivering finished products that help millions of patients to breathe. With over 350 employees, we are continuing to grow and are currently going through a period of significant site expansion. We are investing heavily to increase our capacity for developing and manufacturing sustainable pMDIs (Asthma Inhalers). With greener propellants we are able to meet the evolving standards of the industry, while providing comprehensive development, manufacturing, filling, and finishing solutions for a range of medical devices, including SMIs, DPIs, nasal sprays, and medical check valves.

Responsibilities (detailed)

• Managing and driving profitable key customer relationships.
• Taking full ownership of revenue and financial forecasts.
• Generating winning commercial proposals for existing customers.
• Identifying new business opportunities within your accounts.
• Acting as the main contact for customer communications.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant business or technical discipline.
• Experience in commercial management and customer relationships.
• Proven capability in financial and commercial analysis.
• Experience negotiating and presenting commercial contracts.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to provide clear business recommendations under pressure.

About the site

Holmes Chapel is a beautiful village in Cheshire with excellent transport links via its railway station on the Crewe-Manchester Line, proximity to the motorway network and Manchester Airport. The National Parks of the Peak District, Lake District and Eryri (Snowdonia) are within easy reach. The village has a population of nearly 7,000 and offers various amenities, including supermarkets, shops, restaurants, schools, and a GP practice.

This could suit someone who has experience as a Key Account Manager, Business Manager, Senior Account Manager, Contracts and Commercial Manager or Client Relationship Manager.
