Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including ledgers, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, and cost control to maintain performance.
• Ensure timely payments, invoicing and credit control for smooth operations.
• Lead a team of 8–10 staff across project coordination, design, estimating, compliance, marketing and admin.
• Administer and maintain ISO standards and audits, document control, and continuous improvement.
• Support health and safety administration including training records and risk assessments.

What You Will Do

• Oversee day:to:day finance operations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and cost control to keep financial performance on track.
• Ensure timely processing of payments, invoicing, and credit control for smooth business operations.
• Lead and coordinate a team of 8:10 staff across project coordination, design, estimating, compliance, marketing, and administration.
• Administer and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, supporting audits, document control, and continuous improvement.
• Support health and safety administration, including training records, incident logs, and coordination of risk assessments and contractor competency.

What You Will Bring

• A strong grounding in finance operations, with AAT or equivalent experience, and study toward ACCA/CIMA advantageous.
• Experience coordinating or leading small teams, or clear leadership potential within an office environment.
• Confidence working with compliance frameworks, with training available for ISO systems and process embedding.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and maintain accuracy.
• A proactive, hands:on approach with comfort working autonomously, staying organised while keeping momentum across teams.
