Job summary

Leapfrog Limited is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join the finance team on a fixed-term contract until May 2027. You will own key financial processes and provide insight to support operational and strategic decision-making.

You will prepare monthly management accounts with commentary, partner with operational teams, lead budgeting and forecasting, investigate variances, produce reporting and ad hoc analysis, maintain balance sheet reconciliations, and support audit

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with management accounting experience and commercial awareness.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting and exposure to business partnering is ideal.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
• Good systems knowledge including MS Office and MS Dynamics 365 or similar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts with clear commentary on trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with operational teams to translate financial results into actionable recommendations.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for designated areas.
• Investigate variances, anomalies and performance trends.
• Produce high-quality reporting and ad hoc financial analysis for leadership review.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain robust financial controls.
• Support process improvement initiatives across finance and wider business functions.
• Assist with preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance and health and safety requirements where applicable.
