Job summary

Escape Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join the finance team in the UK. You will report to the Finance Manager and partner with managers across the business to influence profitability and performance.

The role goes beyond month-end tasks, providing insight into risks and opportunities and supporting strategic decision-making with robust analysis and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/CA) with management accounting experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial analysis and modelling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly management reporting.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to improve ownership of financial performance.
• Lead and coordinate the UK budgeting process.
• Prepare and maintain monthly forecasts including cash flow forecasts.
• Review job costings and identify potential risks.
• Analyse expenditure and profitability to support decisions.
• Provide financial insight to support commercial and operational decisions.
• Mentor wider finance team and drive continuous improvement.
