Job summary

SER Limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Person/ Plumber to join a large commercial site in Swindon. The role covers maintenance across offices, depots and manufacturing areas with emphasis on compliance and water flushing.

You will handle taps, radiators and general building maintenance on a static site. Level 2 plumbing qualification is preferred; strong practical knowledge is essential. A commutable distance to Swindon is required.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining on large commercial sites.
• Knowledge of compliance maintenance including flushing.
• Able to change taps and radiators and perform general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a large commercial site including offices, depots and manufacturing areas.
• Perform planned maintenance and compliance checks, including water flushing.
• Replace taps, radiators and carry out other general maintenance tasks.

Job description

Position: Maintenance Person/ Plumber

Location: SN3 aera of Swindon

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £32,000 to £33,500 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Person who has good plumbing knowledge to work on a very large Commercial/ Industrial site based in the Swindon area.

This Maintenance Person will be working throughout the whole site that will include office areas, depots and within the manufacturing area.

They will be dealing with a lot of planned maintenance and compliance checks which will include water flushing. They will also be replacing taps, radiators etc

This person must have commercial maintenance experience, we would look like someone with a level 2 plumbing qualification, however strong plumbing knowledge would work well.

This is a large static site, so we do not need a full UK driving licence, but it would be beneficial. The plumber will not be required to join the maintenance on call rota

Requirements

• Experience dealing with maintenance on large commercial sites
• Happy to deal with compliance maintenance including flushing
• Must be able to deal with tap changes, radiator changes etc
• Happy to cover other general building maintenance
• Level 2 in plumbing is preferred however we would look at other city and guilds qualifications
• Based in a commutable distance to the SN3 area of Swindon
• Happy to work on a static site

Package

• Basic salary based on a 40 hour week
• 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
