Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Hampshire is seeking an experienced Commercial Maintenance Plumber to join our engineering team on a portfolio of hospitality sites across Hampshire, including Premier Inn and related locations.

You will carry out reactive plumbing repairs, maintenance and minor works in occupied premises, ensuring safety and high standards. The role emphasizes fault finding, drainage and hot-water systems with professional client communication.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial plumbing and maintenance experience.
• Strong background in reactive maintenance and fault-finding.
• Experience working on commercial premises, hospitality/hotels or similar environments.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage, hot-water systems and sanitaryware.
• Ability to work independently, organise workload and resolve problems effectively.
• Professional approach, good communication skills and customer-service attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience across multiple commercial sites is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Carrying out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance across commercial properties.
• Diagnosing and resolving plumbing faults efficiently and professionally.
• Undertaking drainage repairs and dealing with blockages and associated issues.
• Maintaining and repairing hot-water systems and associated components.

• Completing minor plumbing installations and general maintenance works.
• Undertaking basic building maintenance tasks as required.

• Maintaining accurate job records and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.

The Role

The Successful Candidate

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Experience working on commercial premises, ideally within hospitality, hotels or similar environments.
• Practical knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage, hot-water systems and sanitaryware.
• The ability to work independently, organise your workload and resolve problems effectively.
• A professional approach, good communication skills and a strong customer-service attitude.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Candidates with experience working across multiple commercial sites will be particularly well suited to this position.
