Job summary

Sellick Partnership is assisting a Legal 500-ranked firm in recruiting an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. You will manage a varied caseload across contracts, partnerships, insolvency, and probate disputes, handling ADR and court appearances where needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' PQE as a Commercial Litigation Solicitor
• Substantial experience across a broad spectrum of commercial litigation
• Excellent knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to manage a diverse and often complex caseload independently

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad and varied caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contractual disputes, partnership and shareholder disagreements, insolvency claims, and contentious probate.
• Handle matters involving ADR, including mediation and arbitration.
• Attend hearings, mediations and client meetings, and represent clients in court where appropriate.
• Play an active role in business development, including client retention, networking, and growing your own portfolio of work.
