William James Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate Solicitor to join its Manchester team. You will handle high-quality national and cross-border disputes, advising on contractual disputes and commercial claims while developing client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE in commercial litigation.
• Strong contentious experience across a broad range of disputes.
• Experience in insolvency is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Advising on a broad range of commercial litigation matters including contractual disputes and commercial claims
• Handling disputes across litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
• Working on public law disputes, professional negligence, injunctions and reputation management issues
• Supporting on contentious insolvency matters and cross-border disputes
• Managing your own caseload with appropriate autonomy and minimal supervision
• Assisting partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters
• Building strong client relationships and delivering commercially focused advice
• Collaborating with national and international teams across the firm
