Job summary

Sacco Mann, a well-established law firm in Oldham, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. You will handle a varied caseload for businesses and individuals, across contractual disputes, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, and general commercial litigation.

You will manage your own caseload with supervision and work in a supportive, ambitious firm offering hybrid working and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years’ PQE in Commercial Litigation (or similar dispute resolution).
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
• Strong drafting skills and technical legal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload from inception through to resolution
• Providing commercially focused advice to clients
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and other legal documentation
• Attending client meetings, negotiations, mediations and court hearings where required
• Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

A well-established, Legal 500 ranked law firm based in Oldham is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven solicitor with around 3 years’ PQE who is looking to take on a varied caseload and develop their career within a supportive and ambitious practice.

Key Responsibilities

Within this Commercial Litigation Solicitor role, you will manage your own caseload of a wide range of commercial disputes, acting for both businesses and individuals. Matters will include contractual disputes, debt recovery, shareholder disputes, property-related disputes and general commercial litigation matters.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied caseload from inception through to resolution
• Providing commercially focused advice to clients
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications, correspondence and other legal documentation
• Attending client meetings, negotiations, mediations and court hearings where required
• Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Around 3 years’ previous experience within Commercial Litigation (or similar dispute resolution experience)
• Experience managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent drafting skills
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• A commercial approach with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
• The ambition and drive to progress within a growing team
